We see placing decision-making as low as possible as the way to achieve this. Leaders thus create a context in which space is created for colleagues to assume the role and responsibility that best suits them.
Frameworks provide direction for ambition and goals. Transparency provides insight and trust. Controlling turns into feeling grip. All this makes teams agile, creative and autonomous. Moreover, more self-organizing work stimulates ownership and entrepreneurship in each individual. Even in those where you least expect it. This allows organizations as a whole to respond smarter to, for example, hybrid working, robotization and digitization.
Self-organisation is a mature way of working together. This has a positive effect on customers and other stakeholders. However, it does require an investment in personal and team development. In this way, everyone is enabled to work in a self-organising way and - not unimportant in a tight labour market - to keep their workplace attractive.
Mission
We can be brief about that: make work a sustainable source of energy. We all spend a lot of time at work, so let's make sure we get a lot of pleasure and satisfaction out of it as well. And not go for less. This creates space to contribute effortlessly to the goals of an organization or initiative.
Work stress is often the straw to look for other work or to stay and not be comfortable in your own skin. Both are unnecessary! Research has shown for years that experiencing room to develop, fine cooperation with colleagues and autonomy is the most effective mix to be inspired and enjoy working. And this deepens when working with focus and ownership toward the greater goal. It's that simple. Let's create this together!

Simone Beerepoot

Nomads of change founder Simone Beerepoot is an energetic, empathetic and entrepreneurial change maker. She always sees opportunities to accelerate a desired change through thorough preparation. Especially in today's changing society that requires adjustments to outdated change methods. She therefore deploys only up-to-date methods and tools. With her energetic and pragmatic approach, she moves from organization to organization. She listens, explores, walks along for a while and actually gets people moving.
Simone easily oversees the playing field where a change can take place, she involves people who are affected by the change, follows the pace of the group, is attentive to clear communication and picks up speed.
As a sparring partner , she likes to transfer her knowledge to others. Her dream is to develop as many 'nomads of change' as possible, so that many changes can be successfully led from within organizations. So that instead of the often mentioned 30%, a much higher percentage of changes succeed. Not train-the-trainer, but develop-the-change-nomad.
Simone is an expert in organizational development. She has built a broad base in program development and realization from various decision maker roles. She has worked for technical SME and international IT organizations as well as in government, education and non-profit. The themes where her heart lies are developing as a human being, working inspired and putting decisions as low as possible in the organization.
